What We Do

The primary focus of Linnane & Company is supplying fresh and frozen free range, grass fed Australian lamb under our own Mt. Grambie label to independent grocery stores, chain grocery stores, and the food service industry throughout the United States.

Raised on wide, open pasture grasslands, our naturally fed Mt. Grambie lamb receives no antibiotics, no added growth hormones and no artificial feed … ever.

Mt. Grambie lamb also is fully traceable, which means that we know where all of our lamb comes from, including the farm where it was born, bred and raised. 
In addition, our lamb meets Halal processing standards and requirements.

To ensure that Mt. Grambie lamb meets the highest standards of quality and workmanship, our lamb is produced only by the Five Star Lamb farmers' cooperative and processed at only one plant in Australia. Also, our specifications call for production of lambs that weigh at least 50 pounds, thereby providing our customers with consistency in sizing and presentation.

In addition, we supply our customers with cooked Australian lamb shanks with and without sauce, as well as an extensive selection of the finest quality lamb from New Zealand, all-natural beef from Australia and New Zealand, and goat and mutton from Australia and New Zealand.

On the domestic front, Linnane & Company proudly represents B. Rosen and Sons, a leading New York- and Colorado-based purveyor of fresh and frozen lamb and veal.

•  AUSTRALIAN LAMB (Fresh and Frozen)
  
  Our selection of fresh and frozen Mt. Grambie Australian lamb products is second to none in quality, freshness, tenderness and taste. All natural, free range, grass fed, and Halal certified, our Mt. Grambie lamb is raised in the prime grazing region of Victoria, which is noted for its superb climate, lush meadows, and production of the finest lamb available anywhere in the world. The Mt. Grambie product line includes a wide array of premium quality lamb racks, loins, shanks and shoulders, as well as boneless and semi-boneless lamb legs. (See Australian Lamb Product List for photos and descriptions). In addition, we offer diced cubes, which are great for kabobs and stews, as well as lamb trimming and carcasses.
  
  
  
• COOKED AUSTRALIAN LAMB SHANK
  
  Supplementing our extensive fresh and frozen Australian lamb product line is a value-added selection of fully cooked,
  portion-controlled, premium quality lamb hindshanks and foreshanks produced by Hormel Foods and served in a variety of flavorsome sauces, such as red wine and pepper.
  
  We also offer Hormel's bulk-packed cooked shanks without sauce, which allows our customers to add their own
  spices and sauces to reflect their individual tastes and preferences. Simply add a selection of side dishes and fine dining
  has never been so effortless.
  
  
  
• ALL-NATURAL BEEF

  When it comes to beef, the all-natural beef products that we offer from Australia and New Zealand provide a nutrient rich source of protein and essential vitamins, such as riboflavin and B12. We offer an assortment of premium quality tenderloins, striploins, ribeyes and flank steaks that contain no artificial additives and are a healthy choice for any lifestyle.
  
  

•  NEW ZEALAND LAMB

  Linnane & Company's array of New Zealand lamb products also is among the finest available in the marketplace.

  This premium quality New Zealand lamb has been raised under traditional farming conditions with year-round access to fresh or conserved grass or rangeland pastures and, like our Australian lamb, is free of antibiotics and growth hormones.

  Our New Zealand product line includes an assortment of lamb racks, legs and loins, as well as veal round bones, which are excellent for use in soups and stews.
  
  

• GOAT AND MUTTON
  
  Supplementing our outstanding selection of lamb and beef items, Linnane and Company also offers an assortment of quality Halal goat and mutton products from Australia and New Zealand, both of which supply a major portion of the goat meat sold in the United States.

  As one of the healthiest, most nutritious meats available, goat meat is consumed by more than 70 percent of the world's population and has been gaining in popularity among U.S. consumers at a rate of more than 30 percent a year since 1990.

  The goat meat that we offer is natural, free range, contains no added hormones or growth supplements and, like our lamb, meets Halal processing standards. Our product line includes goat carcasses, six-way boxed goat, and goat cubes. Likewise, our mutton products include the finest quality legs, shoulders, and carcasses.
